The askStatista process consists of
four steps:
- You submit a research request via the provided E-Mail or as a Statista account holder via your account.
- We contact you within one hour to confirm the request and ask clarification questions if necessary.
- Our Statista inhouse analysts search Statista internal as well as external data sources and analyze findings.
- We provide you with results to your answers within 48 hours.
In Statista‘s corporate solutions, a monthly askStatista research contingent is included and you can contact us via the contact form in your account.
How fast can I expect a response?
We aim to contact you within one hour to confirm the request and ask clarification questions if necessary. Answers to your research questions will be provided within 48 hours after clarification, on weekdays. More complex questions may take additional time, but this will be discussed with you prior to research.
What kind of questions can I ask through the askStatista service?
We have experienced teams of inhouse analysts, a global network of industry experts, and a vast database of sources and information, which allow us to perform ad-hoc analysis quickly and effectively. askStatista questions vary from “How big is the online advertising market in the UK?“ to “How do average inner city real estate prices compare between New York and Paris?“.
What if my research request turns out to be too complex for askStatista?

How much do I need to pay to ask a question?
If you do not have an active ask Statista account, you can book an ask Statista package that
best suits your needs, after clarification of your needs and confirmation of the feasibility
of the inquiry.
Will I be informed how many hours will be used for my question?
After clarifying and confirming your request, we will give you the most accurate estimate of the effort in hours possible. As soon as we provide the results to your question, we will inform you about the hours actually used for the current project, as well as still remaining hours.

Can I review initial results and refocus as we go?

If your research question is more complex, we will provide you with initial results after 48 hours. Please feel free to contact our team at any point during the research process. Especially with more complex questions, a deep dive and refocusing after receiving the first result is possible within a follow-up project.
Do I have a direct contact to manage my project?
Yes. You will be directly in contact with our askStatista team. Results for quick research topics within your Corporate Accounts are provided via our Statista Account Management.
Can I ask multiple questions during the course of my research?
Yes. You can ask multiple questions and we will provide you with a time estimation for our research conducted by our Statista inhouse analysts. More complex questions may take longer to answer, which will be directly communicated with you prior to the start of the project.
My question is regarding a non-English speaking market – do you have people to conduct research in multiple languages?
