As discussed on the phone, we have focused our research on IT system houses / infrastructure providers and resellers with B2B hardware focus. Companies with B2C focus as well as wholesalers, distributors and companies with strong focus on office supplies have been excluded in the research.

A key source to develop the long list of companies have been information of most relevant hardware manufactures on regional partner network. In addition, other sources such as IT associations, trade fairs, company databases, media publications and key word search have been used to identify players. Identified companies have been checked and a in scope / out of scope decision has been taken.

According to the Statista Consumer Market Outlook the revenue in the Laptops & Tablets segment in the B2C segment in Italy amounts to US$3,249m in 2019. The volume in the B2C segments amounts to 6.18 m pcs. In 2019. The B2C segments gives a proxy for the size of the B2B segment as according to other sources the split between B2B and B2C in laptops in roughly 50/50 (see Grandviewresearch data further below).
